Hey Mary this is Holly Priddy. My mom Debbie purchased three of your boxers and I wanted to update you. All three are doing very well. Winston our HUGE black boxer is such a lover boy. He is around 95 pounds. Bandit our white boxer is also doing great along with his sister sophie who were sired by Striker. I will attach a few recent pics feel free to post them on your commet page. We love them very much and are so happy to have found your site and got them. They give just so much love and lots of kisses! They love being inside doggies but also have a fenced yard to run and play in. Bandit loves the "flash light game". I turn on a flashlight and he chases the light around like its a ball, its so adorable!! Winston acts like a momma dog by washing his brother and sister constantly!!! He is also a bed hog...lol Thank you again so much for taking time to drive to Houston to meet us so we could pick up our babies!

Mary,

Great photos....thanks for sharing them.  Midnight Ace, a.k.a. now "Raider", has adjusted to his new home very easily.  He is such a mellow, sweet little guy.  He is enjoying being around his big sister boxer, Maggie.  He pepped right up when we introduced the 2 of them.  He seems to LOVE being outside and hanging out in the backyard.  Jack loves throwing the ball for him to fetch.

Thank you for forwarding the health information.  It will be very helpful.   I promise you that we will give him a very happy, loving home.  He is a beautiful sweet boy.  We will stay in touch and send some pics your way.

Thank you,
Laura

Hi Mary,

A big thank you for my new black boxer boy, "INDIE"! He is the sweetest guy with an incredibly mellow disposition and such a joy to have in my life. I want to thank you for shipping him here to San Diego, CA where he is already enjoying the beach and the beautiful weather. He walks on a leash as if born to do so and is already the talk of the town as he is beyond handsome with his glossy black coat. I couldn't have asked for a better, smarter puppy and am thrilled. Thank you again for all your help, advice and getting him to me safe and sound. Attached is a photo of his first beach visit to Coronado. Much joy to you and your family in 2009!

Warm Regards, Merri Barton

This family took one of the puppies whelped on September 2, 2008

This puppy was already 16 weeks of age when they took him home.  He had all of his puppy shots, his rabies tag, a health certificate and was current on de-worming!

Mary - just wanted to let you know that "Winston" is being a total and complete LOVE.....we are all wrapped around his little paws.  He came quietly and calmly into the house as though he had been here for years.  He gently introduced himself to our cats....and flopped down on the couch.  He is a TOTAL couch potato.  He is very very smart about going outside with me to use the potty and he's just a lovely lovely puppy.  I cannot thank you enough for picking out the perfect boy for us.  His spirit is so like our Sebastian that it's almost supernatural.  He truly was the perfect match for us.

I'll send you some photos soon.

Happy New Year to you and Bill....thanks so much for making our holiday complete :).

If you want to add a note to your web page about Strikers puppies, You can tell whoever is buying them that they are the best natured dogs.  Gentle, and very lovable.   I can vouch for that....Samson and Jody are the most well behaved dogs.  Full of love and always there when you need a hug....in Samsons case a BIG hug.....So many people have asked where we got them from and I tell them Texas........They love Sammy and Jody, It rained here the other day and I didn't even know I had Brindle dogs they looked like Black something, I couldn't really tell.    I bought Gil a shirt that has a boxer on it and and it says "MUD< WHAT MUD?  So Gil showed it to them and told them they looked like the boxer on the shirt.    Jody is a bed hog and when Samson see's Gil get ready to leave for work he jumps up on the bed and falls asleep next to me until I get up about a 1/2  hour later.  Samsom weighs about 80 pounds and still growing.....Sadie weighs 23.1 pounds a looking prettier every day...She sleeps with Keana at night and Jody is so attached to her that as soon as we wake up in the morning she has to go scratch at the door so Sadie can come out.   When I am working in my office both Sadie and Jody are laying on the bed next to my desk.....Samson would rather sleep in the my chair out in the living room.......Mary, I know I have told you many times, but Sammy and Jody have added so much joy to our lives, those 2 dogs (I really have a hard time saying dogs) they are more like my kids....I don't know what I would do without them......Gil emails me everyday from work and wants to know how the "kids are".......I got him a personalized license plate that simply reads "BXR DAD" (boxer dad.)....He loves it,  in his eyes those 2 can do no wrong..........Keep in touch, God Bless you and your family and I will talk to you later.....

No problem with posting the picture. Sebastian is just such a handsome dog. And his temperment is unbelievable. I can't tell you how many people stop us at the dog park or on his walks and tell us how he is so well-behaved. Our kids just LOVE him. The first thing they both ask when they wake up in the morning is "Where is Bash"...they call him "Bash" for short. They're not asking for mommy or daddy or their breakfast. They're wondering where Sebastian is. And of course, Sebastian is still asleep in the mornings, either lounging on the chaise sofa downstairs or on one on one of his 3 dog beds throughout the house. And when the kids are home in the afternoons after school, Sebastian is right there in their rooms lounging on their big chairs. We can't thank you enough for sending him to our family.

He is well taken care of and is spoiled rotten. Merry Christmas to you all!

Here is an email we just received from a family who purchased a female puppy

out of the current litters now on our Puppies For Sale page.

They had a 4 year old fawn male Boxer they call Gunnar and have named

their new female puppy "Ginger".

Hi Mary! Just wanted to give you a quick update on Ginger. It's been a month as you know, and she has grown like a weed! I took her to the vet yesterday, for a checkup and 12 week shots and she weighs almost 16lbs already!! She is perfectly healthy and the sweetest little baby. My vet's wife was there and she was holding her. Well, Ginger, the snuggle bug, was against her, it looked like she was hugging her. So sweet!! Then we took her and Gunnar to Abilene for a visit to PetSmart. What an afternoon! We were there for 2 hours, everyone was oohing and aahing over MY babies!! Gunnar was his usual rambuctious self, but Ginger was sweet and just eating all the attention up.

I had multiple people asking about where we got her, one lady really seemed serious, so I gave her your website info. Maybe you'll hear from her!! I really need to take some more pics of her, so you can see how big she's getting. I'll try soon. Please email me and let me know when Cinnamon has her babies. I can't wait to see them!!

Thank you for our girl

Michael, Desa, Nicole, Gunnar, and Ginger

Here is an email just received from the Priddy family who purchased their Boxer almost a year ago.  Their puppy was sired by Striker who also sired most of the puppies on the For Sale page!  This puppy has adopted the whole Priddy family and seems to enjoy taking turns with everyone in the family!

Hi Mary,

We bought "Sugar Baby", whom we renamed Sophie, last May. My husband says I pamper her too much. The family absolutely loves her.  Sophie has the most incredible disposition.  She is loving, affectionate, very bright and a wonderful companion.  When you say your dogs have a great disposition, how true that is! She is an inside dog with her own "chair" in the living room. I only wished I had the room for another dog from you. Thanks for such a wonderful pet!  When someone ask where I got her I gladly tell them. I will try to send you a picture soon.

Here is one just received two days ago from a customer who purchased one of the siblings of the puppies now shown on the For Sale page (February 2007).

Hello!!!!

Annie is doing great and already knows the commands sit, shake, speak, and high five.  I’m getting her to learn the command shake left and then right lol!  She’s a smart cookie and soo cute!  She has the greatest personality and everyone that meets her just loves her.  She can be onry at times and get out of hand being rambunctious, but I think that’s just a boxer thing..haha.  I decided not to clip her ears.  It was just better for her and I .  I didn’t want her to go through it and NEITHER did I.  Great news!  I’m hoping to get into my new apartment in April.  They are a “dog friendly community”   and except BIG dogs.  There is a HUGE lot where you can unleash your dog and let them run.  Plus they get spoiled with doggie treats in the office J.  I know she will be much happier there  and so will I.  What I’m paying now at my place Is such a ripe off and joke.  In my new place I will have a tennis court, fitness center, basketball court and I’ll be saving almost $100 dollars a month! Compared to where I’m at now.  And have running room for Annie… YOU JUST CAN’T BEAT THAT!  She loves my grandpa and going to his place.  I usually take her over there on the weekends and let her run her little heart out in his fenced back area.  Especially since it has gotten so nice these last 2 weeks.  I was starting to get cabin fever myself being stuck in the house cause it was too cold to do anything or take Annie for walks.  It sucked.  She eats pretty well now.  Except for the weeks when Nick and I both work during the day.  I ‘ll go home for lunch and she won’t touch her food, but if Nick is there during the day with her ,she eats.  If it’s just me going home for lunch and she’s been alone all morning she doesn’t want to let me out of her sight and of course wants to play instead of eat.  I think she might have a little separation anxiety problem, lol.  Cause on the weekends when I’m there all day or Nick is, she eats regular no problem.  She does like her dog food and I bought that IAMS bacon flavoring you put in their food.  She loves that , but it’s expensive.  Next time I will just try to remember to pick up beef broth at the store or something.  The vet also suggested changing her diet to maybe chicken and lamb.  He said she was a little under weight the last time I took her , but nothing to worry about and said she was healthy.  I think I like him as a vet.  He is really good with Annie and seems to be sincere, plus the assistant she is super nice also.  He said she was the prettiest boxer he has seen in a long time.  For some reason people just love the hell out of her.  But I know why J  She’s unique inside and out…haha.  THANKS AGAIN!  I can’t imagine without her now.  When I get the chance I will get some new pics and send them.  She’s getting big sooooo fast.  Well, nice talking to you and hope to hear from you soon.

Lindsey and Annie

p.s.  when I filled out her registration I didn’t fill out a full name for her , so they put my last name in front of hers…I didn’t know lol.  I just put Annie, no middle name or anything.  So now she’s called Hottell’s  Annie in the registration…LOL ….you know it kinda grows on ya if you say it a couple of timesJ  Sounds like a business, lol.BYE!

Hey Mary,

Puppy and I just had our morning nap together. Everything is going great!

"Winston" is doing fine and having fun acclimating to his new family and environment. He is gorgeous!!! He is smart and sweet!!! Our last two boxers were the best 2 dogs in the whole wide world. But, now, we have just been blessed with the 3rd best dog in the whole wide world.

Last week I did paperwork, taxes and spring cleaning at home. This week I have barn cleaning to do and a clinic out there this weekend. Winston will be with me to help me out with these chores with some play time and nap time intermixed! I hope you are winding down from your very busy week. Thank you and your husband for looking out for us. We can tell that you did!

It looks like you did sell the other male, black and white pup to the person in Louisiana.  Probably a good thing b/c I might have had to crash the checking account and buy him too after already falling in love with his brother pup.

P.S. His name may change. My husband is naming him since I picked him out and, over the last 20+ years, the kids have always named all of our pets.

We thought it best to let Dad pick one name, ha, ha. -esp since he's paying...

I have a friend in Texas!

Many Blessings, Ann

A little more than a year ago my boyfriend Michael and I  were lucky enough to get a little male boxer from one of Striker's litters. You may remember, we got our puppy (Tyson) sent out to us March 8th 2006 to Arizona. Well anyway we feel so blessed with him and we have been thinking about getting a little sister for him to play with. I know from speaking with you via email and telephone that Tyson's amazing disposition with both people and other animals must be due to his father's personality. We were wondering when Striker might be having another litter.

Thank you,

I wanted to let you know how wonderfully Penny is doing! She is a doll baby! She has taken to her crate training very well and keeps it clean and dry all night and anytime we have to leave the house without her. She lays right down and goes to sleep in it!  She is eating well (though not tons) and LOVES to play with everyone. She is such a calm and even-tempered puppy.  We try to take her to meet lots of people (but not other dogs yet since she hasn't had all shots). Everyone she meets falls in love with her and says she is the prettiest and nicest little pup they ever met! Penny went to see our vet today and did very well. The doctor and vet assistance all took turns loving on her! Everyone asks where she came from and I proudly tell them about my wonderful breeder friend in east Texas! I wouldn't at all be surprised if one of my friends or colleagues ends up with a Bartlett Boxer themselves down the road!

Take care,
DeAnna

Dear Mary,

I've been meaning to write to tell you about your past puppy freckles, now called Hogan is doing. He is growing so fast! He remains the most mellow, calm and loving boxer I've ever met. My female boxer has adopted him as her baby, she brings Hogan her toys and lays next to his crate at night. The little kids in the neighborhood come to my door asking if Hogan can come out to play. He's so calm that even the little ones that have been afraid of dogs loves to sit and pet him-he's a boxer that doesn't even jump, who knew there was such a thing!!! He's been the perfect addition to our family and am so grateful we are that we found him.! We are so over the top in love with this little guy and some day I would love to have another Bartletts boxer. Also, we have pictures of him and will send it to you as soon as my

kids show me how! Nancy Ryan.
