Welcome to Bartlett's Boxers!

Hello!  I'm Bill Bartlett and together with my wife Mary, our children and our grandchildren, we would like to welcome you to our website and thank you for taking the time to check out our Boxers.  We are a very small kennel and currently have four female Boxers that are used for breeding.  We have selected three more young female Boxer's whose puppies will be sold through our web site in a year or two.  Because we are very selective in our  choice it has taken us several years to find just the right Boxers.  We also (but rarely) represent other breeders who we feel have excellent Boxers and occasionally sell their puppies through our web site. 

 We live in Eastern Texas and have been raising Boxers for over 50 years.  We insist upon excellent dispositions, conformation, health and soundness in our Boxers.  We register our Boxers with AKC and can email copies of their Pedigree to you.  We use only females that have excellent temperaments and mothering instincts to produce our loveable puppies. 

Currently we use three Sires whose pictures are on our "Our Boys" page.  They have numerous Champions on their pedigrees, copies of which are available upon request.    Sarge is our newest male and is affectionate and gentle as well as an excellent family pet. He was whelped and sired by Champions and will be our largest male when fully grown.  Currently he is 16 months old and already weights a hefty 75 pounds.  Striker has, Beauty, Brains and an Incredible Loving Disposition!  Ace is our flashy Black male who helps us get beautiful Black puppies.  He is more German style in looks, build and weight and is a brother to the black male puppy "Tank" whose picture is on the bottom of our home page.  Our males are playful with our females but are happiest when they are in the house and near us.  Our Boxers are kept in our home and have a fenced back yard to get plenty of exercise.  We do have outside large kennels used when necessary to contain a male and female to ensure the intended breeding and guarantee proper AKC dna bloodlines. 

With our Champion bloodlines, we do get some "Show Quality" puppies but our goal for our Boxers is to find homes that appreciate having a Boxer that is not only beautiful but has brains, an incredible disposition and is healthy and sound. 

Our Boxers are cared for by our Veterinarian Dr Hughes who is located in Center, Texas.  He is not the closest vet to our location but is our choice for an excellent Vet who really gives special care and attention to all of our loveable Boxers.  It is our sincere hope and desire that you will be able to find a vet in your area to give your puppy the excellent care that Dr. Hughes gives ours!

If you do not live close enough to take your puppy to Dr Hughes in Center Texas, the next best thing we can recommend is a copy of the book written by an old country vet that has been taking care of pups for over 40 years.  This book is REQUIRED READING for every Boxer owner.  It will not only guide you in being able to give your Boxer puppy the best care possible but will save you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on vet care.  You can locate this book by going on line to:  www.oldcountryvet.com .
